Live music, silent auction, fully licensed bar, our legendary music quiz and maybe even a singalong round.
Since 2018 – music fans in and around Worcestershire have been flocking to the now famous “GlastonBeoley”.
It started with a little idea….
Debbie Joynes (Imaner, The Tangents) was having what she described as “a significant birthday”.
“Let’s get some muso friends round for a jam!” she said, enthusiastically.
And suddenly, she was recruiting all her friends, and we were raising money for charity and having a full-blown festival!
In 2018, GlastonBeoley raised £10,000 for Charity. The money was split between Deafblind UK and The Mental Health Foundation.
In 2019 we raised £14,000 – and our Charities included The Sophie Lancaster Foundation, Redditch NightStop, and Charlotte & Craig’s Saving Hearts Foundation.
2020 – and we are going even BIGGER!
Instead of just a one day festival…..this years’ GlastonBeoley will take place on the weekend of June 6th & 7th 2020 at the Birmingham and Solihull Rugby Club located in Portway.
Even more bands! Better parking – and we are even offering overnight camping!
The full festival experience, in fact.
The festival will be crammed full of talented musicians and groups, with all ticket money going directly to charity. The organisers, artists, and helpers all give up their time for free.
Coupled with a licensed bar and plenty of food outlets for hungry festival-goers, it promises to be an amazing day for all the family.
The festival times will be announced closer to the date, but we plan on being bigger and better than ever.
You will be given a wristband in exchange for tickets, so you can come and go from the festival as you please throughout the day.
