Giant Easter Egg Raffle
GlastonBeoley Music Festival held an online auction in the run-up to the Easter break with a delightful chocolate egg on offer, after originally planning to do the auction at one of their charity fundraising quizzes due to take place at the end of March.
The auction was won by Alvechurch resident Jackie McGrath, who donated the egg to her niece Samantha – a Ward Sister at the QE Hospital in Birmingham – for her and her clinical team to enjoy.
GlastonBeoley Director Debbie Joynes said of the raffle “As you can imagine, it’s been very difficult to continue with our festival fundraising efforts at this time; the online auction proved very popular and we couldn’t have been more delighted that it went to Sam and her wonderful team at the QE.”
“We’d like to thank everyone who took part – and especially the Redditch Lions who kindly donated the beautiful egg in the first place.”
GlastonBeoley Music Festival has now rescheduled for 5th and 6th June 2021
